Ready to elevate your nursing career? We are seeking three dynamic and compassionate Band 6 Senior Nurses to join our vibrant Adults, Acute, Community, and Childrens (AACHC) service. Main Responsibilities

  • Lead day‑to‑day clinical practice, managing a complex caseload with advanced assessment, diagnosis and evidence‑based care.
  • Prescribe, review and evaluate medication and treatment therapies in line with professional standards.
  • Deliver clinical interventions and procedures, acting as an expert resource for the multi‑disciplinary team.
  • Mentor and supervise junior nursing staff, students and support workers, contributing to induction, training and development.
  • Champion clinical governance, leading risk assessment, incident reporting and audit to improve service quality.
  • Maintain accurate, timely and comprehensive patient records in line with professional and trust standards.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

  • Registered Nurse (Adult/Child/Mental Health/Learning Disability) with current NMC registration.
  • Post‑registration qualification or significant equivalent experience relevant to the AACHC setting.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development and revalidation.
  • Substantial post‑registration experience, including within an acute, community or children’s setting.
  • Proven experience in managing a complex clinical caseload autonomously.
  • Demonstrable experience in mentoring, supervising and supporting junior staff.
  • Excellent clinical assessment, care planning and evaluation skills.
  • Strong leadership qualities and the ability to motivate a team.

Desirable

  • Non‑Medical Prescriber qualification.
  • Physical assessment skills course or equivalent.
  • Experience in clinical audit and service improvement projects.
