4AIR Programme Analyst

Position Summary: This role supports both our European commercial/programme work and our regulatory compliance (MRV) operations. You will help represent the 4AIR brand in Europe (partner/customer point of contact, events support, lead follow-up) and act as a regulatory programme assistant—preparing monthly emissions & passenger-tax monitoring reports, assisting with final annual emissions reports, coordinating with verifiers, and supporting submissions to competent authorities across EU/UK ETS, CORSIA, ReFuelEU, and relevant national taxes. You will work closely with the European Programme Manager and the Regulatory Programme Lead, supporting their priorities and helping deliver team objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with customers to understand their needs and help educate about our different programmes and services.
  • Act as a point of contact for identified prospects and explain our services
  • Ensure customer deliverables and inquiries are addressed on time.
  • Prepare presentations and reporting templates
  • Prepare monthly emissions & passenger-tax monitoring reports; validate data against flight, fuel, and routing sources.
  • Compile annual emissions reports; maintain evidence packs; track deadlines and deliverables.
  • Support third-party verification and submit materials to competent authorities.
  • Maintain and update customer’s Emissions Monitoring Plans (EMPs), internal checklist and guidelines.
  • Assist with SAF claims documentation.
  • Monitor relevant legislation and guidance (EU/UK ETS, CORSIA, ReFuelEU, national taxes); summarise impacts and update SOPs/templates.
  • Assist with client onboarding, recurring sends, and Q&A; log actions and status in CRM/project tools.
  • Support the team at industry events.
  • Stay on top of best practices and research within sustainability and adapt for turnkey solutions targeted at a diverse and growing set of customers.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Aviation & sustainability basics: Working knowledge of aviation operations and awareness of aviation regulatory programmes (e.g., EU/UK ETS, CORSIA, ReFuelEU); strong willingness to deepen expertise.
  • Compliance documentation: Keep accurate, well-organised records and evidence; use version control; follow SOPs/checklists; ensure files are always audit-ready.
  • Data accuracy: Comfortable cleaning, checking, and reconciling flight activity data; high attention to detail and numeracy.

  • Tools & software: Proficient across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem; strong general data-management skills; quick to learn new platforms. Bonus: basic analytics/BI familiarity.
  • Process & organisation: Task tracking, versioning, and file hygiene; comfort working from templates and improving them.

Location

London preferred (office space in Mayfair), but can be remote in Europe.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (VBA not required).
  • 1–4 years’ experience in aviation, sustainability, data/analytics, or regulatory support.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a remote, small-team environment.
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail; professional written and spoken English.
  • Customer-oriented mindset; anticipates needs and follows through.

Additional Desired Qualifications

  • Flight data analytics understanding and familiarity
  • Interest in working on flight data efficiency metrics and supporting industry research on non-CO2 emissions
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s in business, accounting, sustainability, aviation, or related field.
  • German a strong plus; Italian/Spanish/French also valuable.
  • Exposure to regulatory compliance (e.g., GHG/MRV schemes, ETS/EPA), or to flight-ops systems (e.g., FL3xx, Leon, myairops) and API-driven data flows.
  • Experience with BI tools (Power BI/Tableau) or basic SQL.
  • Pilot license or aviation operations exposure (nice to have, not required).
