Account Director
As an Account Director, you will lead strategic client partnerships, oversee campaign delivery, and drive revenue growth. You will manage a portfolio of key accounts, ensure client satisfaction and identify opportunities for upsell and innovation.
About the Team
The key account team at Crimtan is responsible for the comprehensive management of marketing activities across all regions, brands, and markets for their key client. The team ensures that resource allocation and service provision to client teams are both suitable and effective, drawing upon a deep understanding of the marketplace and the clients’ standing within asset management. Their expertise extends across wealth management, private markets, and intermediary services. The team maintains a high level of proficiency in both online and offline marketing channels, allowing them to create and implement holistic media mixes tailored to the needs of individual campaigns. Additionally, the team oversees personnel management and facilitates any changes to team composition across key regions such as the UK, APAC, EMEA, and, to a lesser extent, the Americas.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Client Growth: Build trusted advisor relationships with senior stakeholders and develop omni‑channel strategies across programmatic, paid social, and paid search.
Commercial Accountability: Manage budgets, forecast revenue, and deliver target profitability. Identify and upsell opportunities and support new business development.
Operational Excellence: Oversee documentation, reporting standards, and ensure clear communication lines between channel specialists and regional leads.
Performance Monitoring: Track campaign KPIs, optimise performance, and provide actionable insights.
People Leadership: Mentor account managers and executives, fostering a high‑performance culture.
Key Skills and Qualifications
Minimum 5+ years in digital media or programmatic advertising; senior media agency experience preferred.
Proven track record in client relationship management and revenue growth.
Strong understanding of DSPs, DMPs, and dynamic creative optimisation.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Experience in financial services would be beneficial but not essential.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
Experienced time management and keeping time‑sheet records for the team.
