In this role, you will work within the FINEX National Professional Indemnity team, providing outstanding client service and support to a diverse portfolio of SME clients across various industry sectors, including but not limited to; Miscellaneous, Design and Construction, Architects, Engineers, Accountants, and Independent Financial Advisers.

You will be part of an established team of Account Handlers/Executives across Ipswich and Manchester. The successful candidate will be based in Ipswich and will manage a portfolio of clients, with accountability for retention and account development. Your responsibilities include developing and maintaining client relationships, providing expert advice, and ensuring clients have appropriate insurance coverage to meet their needs.

The role involves utilising various PI facilities and the open market as appropriate. You will work closely with Network Brokers, the Willis Towers Watson (WTW) Retail GB teams, and maintain direct client relationships. Your key responsibilities include:

  1. Developing strong relationships with clients and understanding their insurance needs.
  2. Providing day-to-day client service and answering queries.
  3. Arranging mid-term adjustments as required.
  4. Preparing broking documentation and negotiating coverage with insurers.
  5. Familiarising yourself with facility wordings.
  6. Ensuring client retention targets are met, and cross-sell/up-sell opportunities are explored.
  7. Encouraging new business referrals and recommendations.
  8. Managing workflows and ensuring systems are updated and compliant.
  9. Collaborating with Mumbai and A&S teams for timely service delivery and premium settlements.
  10. Operating within business policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  11. Maintaining orderly electronic files within CEM guidelines.
  12. Applying FCA principles and working according to Treating Customers Fairly.
  13. Supporting accurate revenue forecasting and tracking.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Experience in Professional Indemnity insurance is beneficial but not essential.
  • High-level client service skills.
  • Ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
  • Strong workload management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Integrity and credibility in representing the practice and WTW.
  • Experience with processes and systems supporting client service.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Knowledge of Willis Towers Watson products and services.
  • Understanding of insurance markets to serve clients effectively.
