We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our team!
At Better, we are building software solutions that help medical teams improve patient care. Our advanced open data digital health platform already stores over 30 million patients’ electronic health records worldwide, making data our number one priority.

As an Account Manager in our UK & Ireland team, you will take on a pivotal role where you will be responsible for building strong client relations and for exceeding our annual goal for upsell.
As our new Account Manager, you will:
- Act as strategic link between the company and your NHS client base.
- Build strong client relationships.
- Establish a territory plan that enables you to maintain a high level of account management through a blend of direct and virtual contact with the customer base.
- Develop and maintain strategic plans and roadmaps for all key customers within territory, seeking to ensure revenue from these accounts is maximised.
- Production of weekly and periodical management reports and sales forecasting / pipeline against business plan for the territory.
- In conjunction with the UK&I Client Director, manage the development and approval of all commercial proposals with all internal stakeholders to ensure all areas of the proposal meets the needs of the customer and is acceptable and deliverable by all internal stakeholders.
- Production of quotations, order acceptance, and sales hand over documentation.
- Assist in demonstrations, exhibitions, user groups, and visits by prospects to clients’ sites.
- Provide technical expertise throughout the entire sales process.
Expected skills and expertise:
- 10 years’ experience in an Enterprise software NHS account management position.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven relationship building and negotiation abilities.
- Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare software solutions and their application within the NHS.
- Understanding of NHS procurement processes and requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience with CRM and sales methodologies.
- High motivation and self-drive.
