Background in a compliance role within financial services.

Practical experience with enhanced AML risks and business account opening requirements, especially supporting account opening for customers with complex business structures in line with UK regulations.

Ability to analyze information and apply logical thinking to identify key issues.

Strong customer focus, delivery orientation, and collaborative problem-solving skills.

Proven coaching and mentoring abilities, with capacity to provide constructive feedback.

Excellent attention to detail, with emphasis on accuracy and getting it right first time.

Excellent communication skills, especially in dealing with customers regarding account opening requirements.

The UK Operations business unit handles customer/account servicing, debt management, customer relationships, operational resilience, IT, Information Security, and supplier management, ensuring standardization and quality service.

Within UK Operations, various teams support retail and business operations, including NI & Partnership Distribution, NI Customer Contact Centre, Branch Fulfilment, Payments oversight, Belfast Cash Centre, Business Banking Operations, and services provided by BOI Group under intra-group arrangements.
