About the Role:

Our client is an online retail company operating in the UK, seeking a reliable and experienced accountant to oversee financial compliance and provide periodic financial advice. The role involves ensuring that all statutory obligations are met on time and offering risk management and tax-related guidance when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and filing requirements (VAT, annual accounts, etc.)
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Provide financial insights and risk management advice when requested.
• Liaise with management on financial strategy and regulatory updates.
• Support with ad hoc accounting or advisory tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of UK tax and accounting regulations.
• Experience with small businesses or e-commerce firms preferred.
• Ability to work independently and communicate clearly.
• Based in the UK.
