Overview
The Accounts Senior will be responsible for preparing financial statements, managing accounts, and supporting clients with their accounting needs. This role in accounting & finance is ideal for someone with strong technical skills and a passion for business services.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and finalise financial statements for a variety of clients.
- Manage accounts and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Assist with tax computations and submissions.
- Support clients with bookkeeping and accounting queries.
- Handle reconciliations, including bank and control accounts.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to clients.
- Work closely with junior team members to review their work and provide guidance.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards and legislation.
Qualifications
- A recognised qualification in accounting or finance (AAT/ACCA etc).
- Experience in preparing financial statements and accounts.
- Strong knowledge of accounting software and tools.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in financial reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and team members.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and improving processes.
