Our Actuarial & Risk team provides market leading advice to clients in the financial services sector and further afield. We consult extensively to the general insurance sector as well as to the banking and other non-traditional areas. We specialise in developing bespoke solutions that are theoretically robust but also pragmatic to implement and commercially sound.
We’re happy to talk flexible working and consider reduced hours and job shares, we’ll support you to balance your work and life. We also have expecting positions in other UK locations apart from London.
A look into the role
- Provide Actuarial advice and services to a variety of clients in the General Insurance sector
- Build your personal brand by researching and working on projects relating to a specific technical area, becoming the go-to person in the team for insight and advice.
- You will engage with all key stakeholders on a regular basis to ensure deadlines are met, risks are managed, and the quality of work is to the highest standard.
Knowing you’re right for us
Joining us as an Actuarial and Risk General Insurance Manager, the minimum criteria you’ll be a qualified actuary with UK professional services experience. It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but don’t worry if you don’t tick every box, we’ll help you develop along the way.
- Experience in actuarial modelling, capital, reserving or pricing
- Ability to adapt quickly, work to tight deadlines and a track record of producing high quality work
