Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Advanced Practitioner Occupational Therapist to join our Community Team across South Nottinghamshire. This role is based mainly in the South of Nottinghamshire covering Broxtowe, Gedling and Rushcliffe.
Responsibilities
- Help shape how we collaborate with people in their communities to provide support in the least intrusive manner possible, by maximising their strengths, assets, and resources.
- Work as part of a team including Service Advisers, Community Care Officers, Occupational Therapists, and supportive management to deliver a strengths-based approach and improve equity and opportunities for those needing support.
- Progress to a senior role with the support of Advanced Occupational Therapy practitioners and Team manager.
- Maintain excellent communication to support staff and management and build positive relationships with internal and external partners while delivering high performance.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Be a qualified Occupational Therapist with current registration with Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Evidence of continuous professional development.
- Experience as a practice educator and supervisory experience.
- Strong communication skills to effectively support staff, management, and partners.
Working Arrangements and Location
- Work base: Middle Street Resource Centre, Beeston, NG9 2AR (hybrid arrangement).
- Working arrangements: Hybrid; remote work available; work base can be discussed during the interview process.
- Hours per week: 18.5 (Part Time).
- Salary: £44,075 - £49,282 per annum (pro rata).
- Type of vacancy: Permanent.
- Posting location: South Nottinghamshire including Broxtowe, Gedling and Rushcliffe.
