Introduction to Bunch
At Bunch, we believe managing your home bills should take minutes - not months of chasing. So we’ve built the smartest way to handle shared household costs, starting with a single fixed monthly payment that covers everything from energy to broadband to water. No more awkward money chats. No more missed due dates. No more stress.
We exist to give people back their time, their headspace, and a bit of sanity. Because in a world that’s always on, admin shouldn’t be another full-time job.
We’re a fast-growing team with a rebellious streak. We challenge the way things have always been done and ask: how can this be smarter, easier, better for the customer?
We’re looking for people who are bold, human, and obsessed with making things simpler. People who thrive in fast-paced environments, love solving real-world problems, and care deeply about the impact their work has.
Sound like you? Join the Bunch crew.
Position Summary
We’re looking for a pragmatic and growth-driven AI QA Engineer (L2) to support test development and coverage across new feature releases, AI-powered experiences, and internal tools. This role blends traditional QA approaches with exposure to prompt-based logic, while also advancing our automation footprint.
You’ll sit within the QA & Delivery Chapter and pair closely with engineers, Delivery Strategists, and Product Managers to ensure we catch bugs early, test efficiently, and deliver stable features at pace. While some manual testing may be required, the focus is on long-term automation ownership and contribution.

- Pair with engineers on debugging and test stability
- Help evaluate prompt output consistency where relevant (e.g. AI-generated content, summaries)

- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline; or equivalent hands-on experience in a QA or automation-focused role.
- 3+ years in QA or test automation with exposure to live product environments.
- Experience writing automated tests in a common framework (e.g. Cypress, Playwright, or similar), familiarity with REST APIs, good debugging and defect triage skills
- Further study or certification in Software Testing, Automation Engineering, or AI-related fields
- Experience contributing to automation frameworks, prompt-testing workflows, or hybrid testing pipelines.
- Exposure to AI platforms (OpenAI, Claude, etc.) or prompt engineering concepts. Interest in observability tooling and test coverage analysis. Understanding of test reliability metrics and flake detection.
