Overview

Position: Computer Science PhD – Contractor, Remote. Commitment: 10-20 hours per week. Contribute subject matter expertise to a cutting-edge project involving frontier large language models. Craft high-quality, challenging problems with real-world applicability to inform the future of AI innovation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate asynchronously with a team of highly qualified experts across your domain.
• Craft, solve, and review challenging problems with real-world applicability.
• Ensure the project aligns with AI innovation goals and objectives.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet project deadlines.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of AI model performance.

Qualifications

Must-Have Qualifications

• Masters or PhD in Computer Science from a top US university
• High attention to detail
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent proficiency in English
• Based in the U.S., Canada, New Zealand, UK, or Australia

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in crafting problems with real-world applicability
• Familiarity with frontier large language models

Engagement Details

• Compensation: $65-75/hour
• Contract Type: Hourly Contractor
• Schedule: 10-20 hours per week
• Location: Fully remote and asynchronous
• Start Date: Late September, applications reviewed on a rolling basis
• Payment: Weekly via Stripe Connect
