Overview

Mercor is seeking Physics PhDs for a premier project with a top AI lab. You will contribute subject matter expertise to state-of-the-art large language models and help create high-quality data by proposing difficult problems in your domain.

Qualifications

• PhD in Physics from a top US, UK, Canadian, or European university.
• High attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficient in English.

Job Details

• Role: Remote, asynchronous; flexible schedule.
• Hours: 15-20 hours/week, with potential to extend to 40 hours/week.
• Duration: Minimum 1-2 months; starting in August with rolling applications.
• Contract status: Hourly contractor; payments via Stripe Connect at end of each week.

Pay

Base pay range: $60.00/hr - $80.00/hr

Screening

• Complete a short AI interview and a written form (about 20-30 minutes total).
