OverviewApprentice Fire & Security Engineer - South East London. Alarm Communications Limited are a leading team of fire protection, commercial security and building management systems specialists, with our Head Office located in Surrey. Our client base is predominantly built of prestigious buildings and landmarks, such as high-end hotels, stadia and education establishments in and around Greater London. We are currently looking to appoint a new Apprentice Fire & Security Engineer specifically covering London & surrounding areas.Salary and benefits: Basic Salary paid at National Living Wage rates subject to age and year of apprenticeship. See our remuneration packages in detail below.ResponsibilitiesMaintaining fire alarm, access control, CCTV and intruder alarm systems to the highest standards, representing the engineering face of Marlowe Fire & Security GroupCarrying out routine services of fire and intruder alarm systemsProvide detailed information to enable accurate quoting of chargeable worksMaintain impeccable conduct and deliver the highest standard of customer serviceKeep concise and accurate records of work completedComplete your Fire & Security Systems QualificationYour Qualification and CourseTo become a full-qualified Fire & Security Engineer, you will learn both on the job, whilst studying across a 3-year courseThe educational course operates in block releases, 1 week for each block releaseThere will be 14 block releases across the 3-year period where you will attend college during those weeksTo complete your Level 3 End Point Assessment (EPA), you will be required to pass a theory and practical examRequirementsWho We\'re Looking ForQualified to A Level or BTEC. An Electrical qualification or similar would be an advantage but not mandatoryExemplary in conduct and appearance, possessing excellent communication skills and an inner drive to deliver the highest standards at all timesA meticulous, thorough approach with strong attention to detailFlexibility, adaptability and reliabilitySelf-motivated with the ability and desire to manage workload and coursework efficiently, meeting deadlinesFull, manual UK Driving Licence.
