About the role

We’re hiring an Area Sales Manager for a well-established construction products manufacturer. You’ll grow sales across Wales and the South West, selling through distributors, merchants, and selected end users. The patch has a healthy mix of account management and new business. You’ll be on the road around 4 days per week meeting clients across the region.

What you’ll do

• Manage and grow a portfolio of distributor and merchant accounts
• Win new stockists and project opportunities across the region
• Build joint business plans, promotions, and training with partners
• Track pipeline, margin, and mix, reporting clean activity and forecasts
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure availability and service

What you’ll bring

• Proven field sales experience in construction or building materials
• Strong channel experience with distributors and merchants
• Confident developing new business and deepen existing relationships
• Clear communicator, disciplined with CRM and territory planning
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region
