Area Sales Manager – Medical Devices

Established over 30 years ago, our client is a leading healthcare business who manufacture & supply medical equipment & medical devices to a range of public sector & private healthcare clients across the UK.

They are a multi-award-winning organisation who offer a personalized approach to all of their clients. They are now looking for a Regional Account Manager to join their team in continuing their mission across the Midlands.

This is the perfect opportunity for candidates with experience managing key accounts to join an organization who have an elevated focus on employee training & development; there are clear progression routes from this role into leadership positions within the organization.

This is a field-based opportunity for candidates based in the Midlands.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales & build sales pipeline across designated territory
• Be an ambassador of the brand & the products; actively share product information, specialist knowledge and company awareness
• Build & maintain longstanding relationships with customer base & decision makers within the territory
• Accurate CRM management
• Maintain understanding of competitor product offerings & activity, reporting on activity that could impact the success of the territory
• Deliver effective training & product knowledge to customers, as well as conducting formal demonstrations to assist deal closure
• Collaborate with marketing team to assist sales growth
• Maintain a strong understanding of market developments & customer needs, reporting to management where necessary

The Successful Candidate

• 3+ years full sales cycle management experience, from prospecting through to deal closure
• Field sales experience is essential
• A background in healthcare or health/wellness would be a plus
• Full UK driving license
• Based in the Midlands
• Company car
• Private healthcare / medical insurance
• Pension options
• 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
