Assistant Manager, Treasury and Reporting, Front Office Treasury and Reporting

Overview

The Treasury and Reporting team forms part of Deloitte's Strategy, Risk and Transactions Advisory practice and specialises in partnering with Financial Services clients undergoing regulatory or strategic change. We provide specialist advisory support delivered by subject matter experts across three core client offerings: (i) Regulatory, (ii) Data & Technology, and (iii) Operating Models, Process & Controls.

Responsibilities

  • Lead client projects by managing client relationships, developing the scope and engagement plan, managing team members, engagement financials, and overseeing the production of high-quality deliverables
  • Working with a range of client stakeholders, and being seen as a subject matter expert within client organisations and by colleagues, developing and maintaining deep industry relationships and knowledge
  • Co-ordinate internal practice development by participating in proposition, methodology and point of view development activities and supporting knowledge capture and sharing
  • Establishing and building a network of contacts across Deloitte and peer networks within our clients
  • Develop proposals for new client opportunities and have an integral role in industry and account initiatives

Qualifications / Skills

  • Experience of working with market leading Financial Services organisations in Treasury, Liquidity or Capital
  • Strong understanding of the SREP and ICAAP/ILAAP approach under EBA and PRA regulatory requirements
  • Mandatory Capital or Liquidity knowledge and experience in regulatory requirements
  • Capital markets and/or wholesale banking knowledge and/or experience
  • Experience from a role covering regulatory capital or liquidity across regulatory reporting/policy, finance, treasury, or risk
  • Post-secondary degree in Business or Finance or Risk is preferred
  • Technical designation in Accounting, Risk or Finance is advantageous (CFA, CA, MBA, FRM)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and experience in developing and managing senior client and stakeholder relationships
  • Experience of developing junior staff and mentoring team members
  • Strong analytical and project management skills with experience leading multi-disciplinary teams on high-profile transformation engagements
  • A delivery record of successful projects and programmes focused on regulatory and/or strategic change
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage a significant and demanding workload under pressure
  • Self-sufficient and proactive professional with ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Ability to engage and work with senior stakeholders at and above the Director level both internally and externally
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to quickly establish credibility with client and project teams
  • Creative thinking, ability to generate innovative ideas, challenge the status quo, and deliver to ambitious requirements
  • Proactive mindset with ability to take responsibility and drive key actions forward

Location & Working Arrangements

You’ll be based in London with hybrid working. Deloitte supports flexible working and you’ll have the opportunity to work in your local office, virtual collaboration spaces, client sites and remotely, depending on role requirements.
