Salary range: £38,400 - £48,000 per annum DOE + benefits
Location: UK Hybrid - Mix of Glasgow office (hub) and home working
Contract type : Fixed Term Contract (12 months)
Our Team
Financial Risk Solutions are an integral cog in the life of our business customers trading cycle. We help customers transact foreign exchange, manage their price risk when borrowing money and help them when they need to deposit large sums of money.
What you'll be doing
- Working within our foreign exchange team to make more customers aware of our VM services and channels which will ultimately grow our income.
- Identify and contact VM business customers who transact FX with another bank or provider.
- Set up VM customers to transact foreign exchange via Business Internet Banking and M-Exchange.
- Use market insights to understand the competition and their offerings.
- Learn about the foreign exchange and money markets and be able to communicate trends/surprises to VM customers.
We need you to have
- Experience in financial markets or foreign exchange
- A passion for delivering brilliant customer experience
- Highly competent with Excel and Maths.
- Strong verbal communication capabilities.
- Capacity to cope with complex situations, tight deadlines and to have a flexible approach to challenges and problem solving.
- Accurate and good attention to detail
- Be a strong team player, with a drive to learn and develop
It's a bonus if you have but not essential
- Knowledge & interest of the UK and global economies.
- An understanding of Kapiti, Business Internet Banking & International payments.
- Understanding of risk and compliance requirements in line with the role.

If the role is part of the Senior Manager Regime and Certification Regime, it requires enhanced pre-employment checks - we'll ask for six years of regulatory references, and once in the role, you'll be subject to periodic employment checks.
