Senior - Associate Electrical Design Engineer

Location: Greater Bristol Area

Working Arrangement: Hybrid working: 3/4 days per week on-site

Salary Range: DOE: £53,000 - £70,000 + Benefits + Bonus

Summary:

Our client, based across Greater Bristol, is seeking a Senior/Associate Electrical Design Engineer to support dynamic building services and low carbon design. You will work at the forefront of low energy building design.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Lead Electrical Engineers across multiple projects
2. Utilize AutoCAD/Revit and supervise drawings in 2D/3D design
3. Monitor progress on-site and prepare regular reports and specifications
4. Support design teams and clients during project phases
5. Supervise junior engineers
6. Represent the company with clients and support business development
7. Manage project finances

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

• Chartered Engineer (CEng) membership of a professional institution
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• At least 6 years of experience designing electrical systems for buildings
• Experience with sustainable projects
• Ability to lead projects and manage teams
• Proficiency in software such as Amtech, AutoCAD, Revit, IES, or Dialux (not all required)

Desirable Skills:

• 7 years of experience designing electrical systems for buildings
• Knowledge of emerging green technologies (e.g., battery storage, photovoltaics, EV charging)
• Advanced experience in Revit
