Digital Marketing Associate Lecturer – Department of Marketing
The Department of Marketing is looking to recruit an Associate Lecturer in Digital Marketing. You will be required to deliver on‑campus teaching to students studying our BSc (Hons) Digital Marketing programme. Being experienced at teaching students at level 4 and above in Digital Marketing within the UK HE sector, you will be able to demonstrate your ability to deliver a student‑centred teaching approach.
Ideally you will have a teaching qualification or be prepared to work towards one. In addition, you will hold at least a postgraduate degree in Marketing, and ideally a professional marketing qualification. Demonstrable industry experience will enhance your application as well as a knowledge of DMI and CIM. As our teaching is done both online and in person, experience of delivering lectures and supporting students in an online or blended learning environment would be desirable. Exposure to virtual learning environments, and other online tools to support student learning (e.g. Moodle, Blackboard or similar).
You will have both teaching and learning and marking and assessment responsibilities.
You will be an experienced lecturer with the ability to deliver high‑quality teaching and learning.
Qualifications and Skills
A degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.
Experience teaching and assessing students within the UK higher education sector.
Experience delivering student‑centred teaching and, for DL roles, experience of teaching through distance learning.
Up‑to‑date industry experience.
Fellowship of Advance HE (or willingness to work towards it with Arden's support).
Desirable
A teaching qualification.
For teaching at postgraduate level, a postgraduate qualification or equivalent.
