Are you an experienced accounts professional looking to take the next step in a dynamic and supportive firm? A long–established and highly respected accountancy practice in East Sussex is seeking an Audit & Accounts Senior or Semi–Senior to join their growing team.

This is a blended role, offering variety across audit assignments and statutory accounts preparation, with the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients from local SMEs to larger corporate entities.

• A broad role combining audit (both fieldwork and planning) with accounts preparation

• Study support towards ACA/ACCA if required

• Supportive and collaborative team environment

• Leading or assisting on audit assignments, both on–site and remotely

• Preparing statutory accounts for a variety of clients

• Liaising directly with clients and providing a high level of service

• Working closely with managers and partners to ensure deadlines are met

• ACA/ACCA qualified, part–qualified or finalist or qualified by experience

• Previous experience within a UK accountancy practice

• Confident communicator with good organisational skills

• Strong knowledge of audit and accounting principles
