What you'll do
- Lead audit assignments, including planning, fieldwork, and completion.
- Prepare company accounts and corporation tax computations in line with procedures.
- Carry out specialist and ad hoc assignments such as pensions, charities, due diligence, and systems reviews.
- Supervise, train, and mentor junior team members.
- Research and analyse financial statements and audit-related issues.
- Maintain client confidentiality and build strong professional relationships.
- Proactively liaise with client management to resolve problems and recommend improvements.
- Manage assignments and report to audit managers or partners on progress.
What you'll bring
- ACA or ACCA qualified (or finalist), with audit exposure in a multi-partner practice.
- Strong technical knowledge, management, analytical, and communication skills.
- Leadership, training, and mentoring ability.
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Confident using Microsoft Office, with knowledge of Sage, Xero, and ideally CCH.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining superior client service.
- A proactive, motivated self-starter who thrives in a team environment.
- Up-to-date knowledge of current legislation.
- Ideally, a driver with your own car.
