This is a fantastic opportunity for an Audit Director to join a forward-thinking firm in London, taking a senior leadership role and driving the delivery of high-quality audit services across a varied portfolio of clients.

The Role

As Audit Director, you will lead the audit department, manage a significant portfolio of clients and contribute to the strategic growth of the firm.

Responsibilities

• Leading and overseeing audit assignments from planning through to completion.
• Managing client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Reviewing audit files to ensure compliance with auditing standards.
• Leading, mentoring, and developing the audit team.
• Working closely with Partners to set and deliver departmental strategy.
• Identifying business development opportunities and winning new work.
• Providing technical expertise on complex audit matters.

About You

• ACA/ACCA qualified with extensive audit experience in practice.
• Proven leadership skills and ability to manage and develop a team.
• Strong technical knowledge of auditing and accounting standards.
• Commercially astute with a track record of building client relationships.
• Strategic thinker with ambition to play a long-term role in the firm’s leadership.
