Position: Accountant/Auditor

Type: Independent Contractor

Compensation: $70–$85/hour

Location: Remote

Duration: 6 weeks

Commitment: 20–40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Write tasks and scenarios reflecting real-world accounting and auditing work based on professional experience.
• Create realistic situations involving financial statement preparation, tax compliance, audit procedures, and regulatory reporting.
• Develop scenarios for financial analysis, identifying discrepancies, reconciling accounts, and interpreting GAAP standards.
• Review and evaluate AI responses to accounting and auditing queries for accuracy and professional standards.
• Provide detailed feedback on accounting and auditing scenarios to improve AI training.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• 4+ years professional experience as an accountant or auditor in professional services, public accounting, or corporate accounting.
• Demonstrated professional recognition and management responsibilities.
• Proficient with using computers and navigating various software systems.
• Excellent written communication with strong grammar and spelling skills.
• Pass video interview, background check, training, and qualification quiz.

Preferred

• 14 years experience preferred.

Compensation & Legal

• Hourly contractor, Paid weekly via Stripe Connect.
