AWS Solution Architect – Manager Level
Location: London (flexible, hybrid with client travel as required)
We are seeking an experienced AWS Solution Architect at Manager level to join a leading global consultancy. Role Overview
As an AWS Solution Architect, you will play a key role in leading teams to design, build, and deliver secure, scalable, and cost-efficient AWS-based solutions. You’ll work closely with client stakeholders to understand business needs, shape cloud strategy, and oversee delivery, while also providing technical leadership and mentoring to colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and delivery of AWS cloud architectures, ensuring alignment with client requirements and best practices.
Translate business challenges into scalable, secure, and high-performing technical solutions.
Collaborate with client stakeholders to shape cloud strategies and roadmaps.
Oversee the build and migration of applications and infrastructure to AWS.
Provide thought leadership, technical governance, and mentoring within delivery teams.
Stay up to date with the latest AWS technologies and help clients maximise value from cloud adoption.
Skills & Experience
Proven background in AWS solution architecture, ideally in a consulting or client-facing role.
Strong knowledge of AWS services including compute, networking, storage, and security.
Hands-on expertise with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD tools.
Experience designing and implementing containerised solutions (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS).
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
AWS certifications at Professional level highly desirable.
