Azure Cloud Infrastructure Architect

Base pay range
Hybrid – London
We’re seeking a hands-on Azure Cloud Infrastructure Architect to lead a major AVS migration and infrastructure-as-code transformation for a large-scale enterprise environment. This is a strategic, delivery-focused role for someone who thrives on building the right cloud foundations — fast.
The Challenge
You’ll own the migration to Azure VMware Solution (AVS) and drive the shift from legacy Terraform modules to Azure Verified Modules (AVM). The existing version of Terraform is being deprecated, so the team needs a cloud-native architect who can stabilise, modernise, and automate deployment at scale.
What You’ll Bring
- Deep Azure architecture expertise — networking, security, governance, backup, disaster recovery, and FinOps.
- Proven experience migrating to AVS and deploying workloads through Infrastructure as Code.
- Hands-on with Terraform, AVM, and modern CI/CD deployment patterns.
- A self-driven, improvement-minded approach — someone who can assess the current baseline and make it better.
- Ability to move from concept to execution across complex enterprise environments.
Why Join
You’ll have autonomy to shape the infrastructure direction, define cloud standards, and deliver real transformation for a global business.
