Salary: Base £12.82 per hour with around £4000-6000 service charge per annum (based on full time) As a Bartender your responsibilities include: Serving guests a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Possessing excellent product knowledge of beverages on the bar menu particularly with Japanese beverages Producing cocktails to specification of the menus and being highly skilled in a wide range of cocktail making techniques, flavour combinations and garnishes Providing a personalized bar experience for all guests Having excellent knowledge of the hotel and restaurant facilities Keeping the bar area clean and tidy, re-stocking, date-labelling, taking payments, cashing up and other bar responsibilities as required Essential Skills: - Excellent communication skills - Excellent attention to detail - Highly organised - Can work independently or as part of a team - The job offers excellent flexibility with shifts however you must be available to work Monday-Sunday, which will be mainly evening shifts and can be late finishes up to around 1am and beyond so you must have sufficient night transport links to the hotel. - Self-motivated and engaging with guests and colleagues Desirable skills: - Previous experience working in a luxury food and beverage venue. - Strong knowledge of Japanese beverages and ingredients. - At least 1 years experience working in a luxury cocktail bar You will be reporting to the Food and Beverage Manager and Bar Manager within the Food and Beverage department of the hotel.
