Principal Engineer As a Principal Engineer for our dynamic and growing team, you will play a crucial role in architecting the development and maintenance of our applications, ensuring optimal system structures, efficiency, and adherence to industry best practices.

Architect and design software systems and application architecture. Identify and mitigate technical debt, security, and business impact. Collaborate with DevOps to unblock and improve the current backlog. Recommend and implement technical developments and software to enhance operational capability of IT systems. Influence tooling and direction of travel within Peoples Partnership by reviewing industry standards.

Hands‑on experience and deep technical knowledge in the following areas:

Web technologies: Microsoft .NET, C#, APIs, Azure Functions, Service Bus. Database: SQL / T‑SQL, SQL Server, database design. DevOps: Build and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code scripting (Bicep, Terraform, ARM templates, PowerShell, AZ‑CLI).
