Responsibilities
- Identify, engage, and close new business opportunities across biotech and pharma clients globally.
- Lead the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification through to negotiation and deal closure.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline while meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with technical, marketing, and customer success teams to deliver tailored software solutions.
- Attend conferences, events, and client meetings to drive visibility and engagement.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular forecasting and pipeline updates.
- Develop a deep understanding of clients’ R&D challenges to position the company’s technology as a trusted partner in drug discovery.
Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience in B2B sales within pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or scientific software.
- Proven track record in new business development and full sales cycle management.
- Strong understanding of drug discovery processes and how software can support them.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with senior decision-makers.
- Highly motivated, target-driven, and comfortable in fast-paced environments.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) and sales enablement tools.
- Willingness to travel to client sites and industry events as required.
