The Opportunity
Landmark Solutions, often described as a start-up within the broader Landmark Group, is on a mission to help organisations unlock the full potential of geospatial data and insight. With a proven track record of success across major clients, we’re entering an exciting growth phase and we’re looking for a dynamic Business Development Director to help drive it forward.
This is a high-impact, strategic role for a seasoned sales professional who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments. You’ll be responsible for building and converting a robust pipeline of new business opportunities across our four core service pillars:
- Data Managed Services
- Bespoke Technology Development
- Geospatial Services
You’ll own the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and close, supported by a talented team of pre-sales consultants, bid managers, and delivery experts.
What you’ll do
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospects
- Lead strategic conversations with senior stakeholders
- Collaborate with internal teams to craft compelling proposals
- Provide accurate forecasts and maintain detailed records in Salesforce
- Represent Landmark Solutions with professionalism and integrity
About You
- Solid experience in enterprise sales, with a strong track record of closing large, multi-year technology deals
- Experience selling into £1B+ revenue organisations
- Expertise in consultative selling and navigating complex stakeholder environments
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and growth
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills across all levels
- Geospatial sector experience is highly desirable
