Business Development Executive

The Role
We’re hiring a commercially sharp and ambitious Business Development Executive to join a high-growth organisation focused on working with exceptional software and technology businesses.
This is a founder-facing, research-led role where you’ll be identifying standout companies, leading thoughtful outreach, and holding strategic early conversations with senior decision-makers. You’ll play a key role in helping the team build long-term relationships in a high-trust, insight-driven way.
You’ll be supported by a strong tech stack, a collaborative team, and clear criteria for what good looks like. For the right person, there’s strong progression potential and exposure to a broad range of commercial strategy work.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Researching sectors and sourcing high-potential B2B software and tech businesses
- Reaching out to company founders and C-level leaders via email, LinkedIn, and phone
- Leading early conversations to understand their journey, challenges, and goals
- Building and managing your own outreach pipeline
- Logging activity, notes, and insights with discipline in the CRM
- Working closely with senior leadership to prioritise opportunities and refine outreach strategy
- Contributing to weekly reviews and sharing performance insights
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of outbound sales, business development, or lead generation experience
- Strong communicator with confidence in speaking to senior stakeholders
- Highly organised, with strong follow-up and pipeline discipline
- Curious about business models and the inner workings of founder-led companies
- Experience in the software or B2B tech space is a bonus
- Familiarity with CRM tools and outreach platforms (Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Nav, etc.)
