Business Development Lead – Sports Tech | Digital Fan Engagement Solutions

They’re now looking for a senior business development lead to drive new commercial opportunities across the UK. If you're a dealmaker with strong industry connections and a passion for digital transformation in sport, this could be your next move.
What you’ll be doing
- Drive enterprise-level sales with a focus on high-value, multi-year contracts.
- Own and deliver a new business revenue target of £1.5M+ annually.
- Close complex sales cycles involving multiple senior stakeholders across leagues, federations, and broadcasters.
- Activate your established UK network to accelerate pipeline generation and shorten sales cycles.
- Translate client challenges into tailored solutions across digital fan engagement, data platforms, and AI-powered video tools.
- Collaborate closely with internal product, delivery, and marketing teams to co-develop winning proposals.
- Ensure robust receivables management post-deal to maintain strong cash flow.
- Monitor emerging trends in sports tech to shape market positioning and product strategy.
This could suit you if…
- You bring 5+ years of B2B sales experience in sport, media, or tech with a consistent record of hitting revenue goals.
- You’ve closed six and seven-figure enterprise deals with C-level sports stakeholders.
- You have a strong network across rights holders, broadcasters, and top-tier clubs in the UK.
- You understand the digital sports ecosystem, data, OTT, AI, content workflows and how to position value within it.
- You excel in long, consultative sales cycles and enjoy influencing strategic decision-making.
- You’re a confident communicator and skilled negotiator who builds lasting relationships.
