Position Overview

At Lyreco, we specialize in providing workplace supplies globally. We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager within our Hygiene Sector, to join our SMBSales Division.

Salary & Benefits

Salary up to £35,000 (DOE), plus commission, company car, mobile phone, and laptop.

Benefits include: 31 days holiday (rising to 38), pension & life assurance, private medical insurance (after one year), 2 paid community volunteering days, referral scheme, and career break options after 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Strategically prospect and win high-profile business accounts in the Hygiene category within your territory.
• Identify vertical market opportunities for the Hygiene proposition.
• Meet with customers to determine product requirements and suggest pricing strategies.
• Stay updated on marketplace trends and competitor products.
• Support client visits and develop customer proposals.
• Support and train sales reps, serving as the key contact for the Hygiene area.

Ideal Candidate

• Experience and knowledge of the Hygiene sector in a business development environment.
• Strong technical product knowledge and commercial experience.
• Ability to build relationships and negotiate with various stakeholders such as facilities managers and suppliers.
• Excellent time management skills, capable of handling multiple projects.
• Advisory approach, considering all issues to create the right solutions.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of networking at all levels.
