What You'll Be Doing

As a Business Development Manager at Guardian, you will play a pivotal role in driving our growth. Your entrepreneurial spirit and can-do attitude will be vital for building strong stakeholder relationships. You will work with a network of medium and large partners, attending virtual and in-person events to cultivate relationships with paraplanners, administrators, and advisers. You will promote Guardian's brand, values, and products through engaging presentations to enhance awareness, interest, and business opportunities within the Life and Health Protection insurance industry.

Brief Overview Of The Role

In this role, you will drive new and incremental premium income to Guardian by attending adviser meetings both virtually and in person. Your focus will be on business development and commercial activities, including high-volume outbound calls and client meetings to meet sales targets. You will collaborate with colleagues across all departments to enhance customer experiences and develop the Guardian brand further.

You will also work alongside our Sales Management, Risk, and Compliance teams to manage, identify, mitigate, and document distribution risks, ensuring actions align with Guardian's processes and procedures. Using your knowledge of Guardian products and the protection market, you will monitor industry trends, threats, and opportunities, supporting Guardian's market positioning and proposition development.
