Currently were working on an exciting new Business Development Manager role with a well-established flexible packaging company. They manufacture a wide range of extruded polythene products - from polybags, covers, and liners to collation and shrink films, layflat tubing, and both hand and machine stretch wrap - supplying into all market sectors across the UK.
They're now looking to grow their sales team with a home-based BDM to focus on building market share.
This is a target-driven, new business focused role, but you'll also have support from internal teams and marketing to help you identify and convert opportunities in strategic sectors.
What you'll be doing:
- Hunting and converting new business through calls, emails, and social media
- Building relationships and closing profitable deals
- Running targeted campaigns into specific market sectors
- Keeping CRM records up to date and collaborating with suppliers
- Attending occasional face-to-face meetings when needed
Ideal Experience:
- 2+ years in B2B sales within polythene or flexible packaging
- A strong relationship builder with a proven track record
- Motivated, competitive and financially driven
- Confident using CRMs and Excel
- Someone with energy, drive, and a strong work ethic
