We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our Rail team focused on UK Light Rail. This role involves working from home with travel across the UK to meet clients and prospects.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sales strategies for the UK Light Rail market.
• Drive sales growth and profitability for the Rail business in Light Rail.
• Engage with stakeholders in local authorities, transport operators, and infrastructure partners.
• Maintain customer satisfaction and advocacy.
• Collaborate on bid and proposal development.
• Manage existing Light Rail clients and generate new leads using data and Salesforce.

Candidate Profile:

Previous experience as a Business Development or Sales Manager in the UK Light Rail sector is essential. Key skills include:

• Account management and sales in the Light Rail market.
• Ability to generate new business.
• Understanding of procurement processes.
• Strong relationship-building skills with stakeholders.
