Company Description
At ZZZ, we are a specialist corporate accommodation provider forhigh-demand events in Cannes, such as MIPIM, Cannes Lions, and the Film Festival as well as events in Davos, Leeds, Munich and Barcelona. Our aim is to provide accommodation where it's impossible to find during congress events. We take away the hassle before and during the event, allowing companies to focus on getting the most out of the event.
What we're looking for

Do you thrive on relationship-building, closing deals, and spotting commercial opportunities before anyone else?
We’re a growing accommodation provider with a strong property network and a client base rooted in the film, media, property and creative sectors. We’re now on the lookout for a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive new business and nurture key accounts, with a focus on high-value, short-term accommodation and event-related stays.
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Business Development Manager based in St Margarets, with some work from home flexibility.
- Managing and growing a portfolio of B2B clients, primarily within the film, TV, property and media sectors
- Leading structured sales calls, outreach campaigns, and in-person meetings to bring in new business
- Identify and build a sales pipeline in other strategic event markets beyond Cannes, leveraging our existing expertise and operational strengths to enter and scale in new locations.
- Leveraging your network within property and/or media to identify and convert leads
- Strong understanding of corporate travel needs, especially around large-scale events or conferences
- Build a pipeline of prospects from industries that regularly attend events in our target markets
- Lead outbound efforts (cold outreach, networking, referrals, LinkedIn, etc.) to establish relationships with key decision-makers (EA/PA, marketing, operations, event teams)
- Collaborating with the Account and Ops teams to ensure smooth onboarding and repeat bookings
- Attending industry events and trade shows to represent the brand and build new relationships
- Attend industry events and networking functions to represent the brand and generate leads
- Collaborate with internal teams on pricing, availability, and proposals to secure client bookings
- Help shape the sales process, CRM system usage, and performance reporting
- Keeping our CRM up to date and reporting on pipeline and performance
Qualifications
- Proven track record in B2B sales, ideally in events, hospitality, real estate, or a service-led industry
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry is a plus
- Has an existing network within the film, TV, media or property world (a big plus)
- Confident in picking up the phone, running meetings and closing deals
- You don’t need to be able to speak French, but that is another strong plus!
