Business Development Manager, Creative agency - £35k-£55k (based on experience and results achieved) - Hybrid - 2-3 days per week Aberdeen office/client site locally This forward thinking creative agency is on the lookout for a n expeirenced Business Development Manager to join their team in Aberdeen. They specialise in crafting engaging visual and digital content, video and animation helping a wide range of organisations connect with their audiences in meaningful ways. With a solid reputation, a growing portfolio, and a relaxed but ambitious culture, they strike the perfect balance between creativity and commercial focus. You will be joining a collaborative team that genuinely enjoys what they do, and has a lot of fun doing it. The Opportunity: They are looking for someone commercially minded and people focused to help drive the next phase of growth. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing long term client relationships, and supporting the wider commercial strategy. This is a great fit for someone who is confident in the business development process and enjoys uncovering what clients really need, then helping shape the solutions that get results. Your role will involve: * Spotting new opportunities by keeping a close eye on the market and tapping into new sectors or audiences * Building and managing a pipeline of leads, through networking, industry events, proactive outreach, and digital channels * Developing strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and decision makers, understanding their needs and challenges * Working with the internal teams to develop tailored proposals and creative pitches * Negotiating contracts and closing deals that work for both sides * Helping shape and refine the agency’s sales approach and strategy * Keeping the CRM up to date and using data to inform activity and forecasting * Collaborating with creative, production, and ops teams to ensure smooth handovers and aligned delivery * Keeping an eye on performance metrics and adjusting your approach where needed What we need: * At least 3 years’ experience in business development or sales, ideally in a creative, media, or digital environment but we are very open on this for the right person. * A solid track record of hitting targets and bringing in new business * Confident communicator with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills * Organised, motivated, and able to juggle multiple opportunities at once * Familiar with using CRM tools (they work with HubSpot) * Open to occasional travel for client meetings and events What’s on Offer: * A friendly, flexible working culture that values people and ideas * The chance to work across a diverse mix of creative projects * Regular support and development opportunities to help you grow * Competitive salary with uncapped commission * Hybrid working (based in Aberdeen) * A genuine opportunity to make your mark in a growing agency Apply noe - client is ready to interview ASAP
