Business Development Manager – Up to £55K | Remote (UK-Based)

Their AI-powered platform helps users measure and manage key environmental indicators while maintaining full control over their data. Grounded in rigorous science and trusted by industry leaders, this company is driving the next generation of data-led, environmentally responsible agriculture.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded Business Development Manager to join a mission-led agritech scaleup. You’ll be leading the charge in customer acquisition and partnerships, working with agri-enterprises, co-ops, and key stakeholders across the UK and beyond. We’re looking for a proactive, hands-on hunter who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and isn’t afraid to pick up the phone.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and approach prospective clients across the agricultural value chain

• Generate leads through cold calling, outbound outreach, and networking

• Build and nurture strong, long-term client relationships

• Deliver tailored demos and clearly communicate the value proposition

• Manage the full sales cycle – from initial outreach to closing and onboarding

• Collaborate with product and marketing teams to align on go-to-market strategy

• Track performance metrics and report on pipeline health and revenue growth

The Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships – ideally in agritech, agri-business, or SaaS

• Consistent track record of exceeding targets and driving revenue

• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

• Bonus points for knowledge of agriculture, farming practices, or the agri supply chain

• Remote-first company (UK-based candidates only)

• Competitive base salary up to £55K
