Description
SummaryA rare opportunity for a career orientated sales professional to join an award-winning IT Managed Services team. Responsible for generating and developing new business with great marketing support and exceptional existing client reference sites.
Reporting to our Head of Sales, the successful candidate will be generating and converting new business opportunities into revenue generating customers and growing service lines through proactive engagement and development of accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
- Attending new business meetings
- Preparing quotes and proposals
- Building relationships and nurturing leads
- RFI and tender responses
- Tracking and updating sales pipeline and role administration
Responsibilities
- Generate business opportunities and generate profitable sales.
- Develop and build new business relationships within the specified target market/verticals through consistent and systematic relationship building.
- Actively seek to understand our target markets, the industry we operate in, our company, clients, products and services, and which market strategies can be used to attract new clients
- Maintain an accurate forecast in the Wanstor CRM platform at all times.
- Meet and exceed bookings, revenue and margin targets.
- Prepare proposals and quotes supporting your sales
- Collaborate and implement plans that support increases sales
- Create, develop and maintain new sales strategies with our key vendor partners where appropriate.
- Help Wanstor meet or exceed their key target objectives through increased customer satisfaction
- Ensure that all internal stakeholders are aware of significant opportunities that will affect the Company
- Collaborate closely with Marketing and Business Development teams to develop lead generation campaigns that drive new business
- Researching organisations and individuals online to identify new leads and potential new markets
- Contacting potential clients via email, social or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
- Prepare and deliver customer facing presentations to articulate solutions and return on investment
- Maintain fruitful relationships with existing customers
About You
Essential
- Experience in business development, selling service based IT solutions
- Knowledge and experience of a structured sales process
- Ability to quickly build and grow prospect customer relationships
- Experience in the development of cross functional relationships with both internal teams and external clients.
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
- Business acumen and commercial awareness, the ability to solve business issue with IT solutions
- Confident and credible leading conversations at C-suite level
- Influential in negotiation and communication

- Highly organized and able to change focus and reassess priorities quickly
- Commercially astute and driven by delivering results
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Energetic, proactive and pragmatic
