Altium Legal is in an exciting high-growth phase, and we’re looking for a tenacious Business Development Manager to help us expand our network of mortgage brokers and estate agents across the UK. If you’re a self-starter who thrives on generating your own leads, winning new business, and building strong relationships face-to-face and online - this is your chance to make your mark.
About the Role
This is a dynamic, field-based and remote role for someone who loves to get out there, open doors, and close deals. You’ll take ownership of finding, engaging, and signing up new introducers, using every tool in your sales toolkit - from cold calling and LinkedIn outreach to on-site visits and industry events. When you’re not on the road, you’ll work from home and collaborate with your team at monthly sales meetings in London.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Proactively generate and manage your own leads through cold outreach, social selling, email campaigns, networking, and face-to-face meetings.
- Build rapport and win over mortgage brokers and estate agents, converting them into long-term partners.
- Visit introducers’ offices to pitch Altium Legal’s trusted panel and concierge service.
- Attend key industry events, exhibitions, and awards dinners to network and promote our brand.
- Consistently hit - and aim to smash - your new business targets.
- Work closely with our internal team to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new partners.
- Join your team for monthly sales meetings in London and attend other in-person sessions as needed.
What You’ll Bring
- You’re a natural deal-maker with proven experience in B2B field sales and business development - ideally in the property or financial services sectors.
- You’re fearless with cold outreach and enjoy picking up the phone, knocking on doors, and connecting on social.
- You thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and don’t wait for leads - you create them.
- You’re a confident communicator, able to build trust quickly and handle objections like a pro.
- You’re highly self-motivated, organised, and able to manage your own time on the road and at home.
- You’re flexible to travel and keen to attend networking events that put you face-to-face with decision-makers.
- Experience using HubSpot or a similar CRM is a bonus.
