Business Intelligence Analyst | Cross Asset Trading House | £80,000 + Bonus + Benefits | Hybrid LDN

The Business Intelligence Analyst is needed for a cross asset trading house that, through mergers, acquisitions, and exceptional performance, has expanded its trading offerings with new business lines, profit centres, and multiple asset classes.

The Business Intelligence Analyst will contribute to developing and delivering the Business Intelligence Platform, acting as part of a centre of excellence, liaising with Data Analysts, Engineers, and Business stakeholders to provide a self-service solution using the modern data platform.

This role offers exposure across various business areas and asset classes, including Energy, FX, Equities, Commodities, Risk, and Finance. The analyst will help upskill stakeholders in each department to promote self-service adoption, making stakeholder communication and technical skills essential.

The position offers up to £80,000 + Bonus + Benefits.

The role is hybrid, requiring 2 days per week in the office.

Closest station: Liverpool Street.

Responsibilities:

• Playing a key role in the Data/BI centre of excellence
• Designing BI platform architecture
• Collaborating with Data Analysts to gather requirements
• Working closely with business stakeholders across different lines
• Performing advanced data modelling

Key Skills:

• Advanced Power BI (Modelling, Visualisation, Security, Platform Architecture, Administration)
• Advanced SQL skills (SQL, T-SQL, PL/SQL)
• Knowledge of Kimball data modelling methodology
