Join Mai‑Wel, a values-driven organisation committed to delivering safe, high-quality, and person-centred services that make a real difference in people’s lives.About The RoleWe’re seeking an experienced Business Partner – Quality, Compliance & Safeguarding (QCS) to support the implementation and continuous improvement of Mai‑Wel’s Quality Management System. In this key role, you’ll partner with leaders and teams across the organisation to enhance processes, practices and performance through collaboration, coaching and expert advice. You’ll be involved in audits, investigations and compliance monitoring to ensure our services are effective, safe and aligned with our values and obligations. This position is based at our Corporate Services office (Maitland) with flexibility to work across sites and from home (hybrid).Your Responsibilities Will IncludePartnering with teams to ensure compliance with legislation, standards and contracts.Coordinating and supporting internal and external audits.Leading and contributing to investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.Providing specialist advice on safeguarding, quality, and compliance matters.Promoting a culture of integrity, learning, and accountability across the organisation.Acting as a central point of contact for quality, compliance and safeguarding advice.About YouYou’ll be an organised, proactive and trusted professional with a deep understanding of quality, compliance or safeguarding frameworks.You’ll have the confidence to engage across all levels of the organisation and the heart to role‑model Mai‑Wel’s values of Respect, Integrity and Excellence.Essential Skills And ExperienceMinimum 5 years’ experience in quality, compliance, governance or safeguarding within the human services sector.Strong knowledge of one or more of: NDIS Practice Standards, ISO 9001:2015, NSDS or child‑safe principles.Proven experience conducting audits, investigations or continuous improvement activities.Excellent communication, analysis, problem-solving and time‑management skills.Proficiency in Microsoft 365.Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (e.g., Quality, Community Services, Health, Governance, HR or Leadership & Management).DesirableLead Auditor or Workplace Investigation qualifications.Experience in multi‑standard compliance and trauma‑informed practice.Why join Mai‑Wel?Hybrid working arrangements (office / home)Salary packaging benefits (up to $15,900 p.a.)Access to ongoing professional developmentA values‑driven and inclusive cultureJob DetailsSeniority level: Mid‑Senior levelEmployment type: Full‑timeJob function: Business Development and SalesIndustries: Non‑profit Organization ManagementReady to make a difference?
