Role Profile – Business Support Manager to CEO UK & Ireland
Reports To: CEO of UK & Ireland
Location: Bristol – hybrid role, expected to be in the office a minimum of 2 days per week
Term: This is a fixed-term cover likely to run until April 2026. Part-time working will be considered, but a minimum of 25 hours per week/daily support is required.
Start date: We are looking for the right candidate to start in mid-August to allow for a 4-6 week handover with the current postholder.

About
This dual role combines skills of a Business Support Manager and a PA. You will oversee administrative and operational support services, ensure efficient office operations, support senior leadership with project and performance tracking, and contribute to improving internal processes. You will also provide high-level personal support to the CEO, acting as a gatekeeper, problem-solver, and coordinator, handling confidential tasks with discretion and initiative.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily administrative functions across teams for seamless support.
- Coordinate cross-departmental initiatives and support project delivery through planning, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
- Provide high-level support to senior management, including scheduling, reporting, and documentation.
- Communicate with vendors, service providers, and external stakeholders.
- Manage diaries and calendars, preparing for engagements.
- Arrange domestic and international travel, including flights, accommodation, and itineraries.
- Handle correspondence, filter inquiries, and manage communication.
- Organise meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on actions.
- Maintain and organise files, records, and confidential documents securely.
- Support or lead planning and execution of events and functions.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in business support, operations, or administrative management.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, with ability to work with house style.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Nice-to-have skills include PowerPoint proficiency. The role is based in Chippenham, England, UK. Work experience in administration and general management is preferred. Fluency in English is required.
