We have a full-time, permanent Business Support Officer vacancy within the Education Division of Children’s Services. We're looking to appoint a motivated and organised administrator with proven line management experience to provide essential support to the Specialist Teaching Services Office Manager, wider education teams, and internal and external partners. We are part of a Local Authority dedicated to championing change for children.

You’ll be joining a friendly, collaborative, and supportive environment where no two days are the same. Whether it’s coordinating meetings, responding to enquiries, or assisting with projects, finance, recruitment, and reporting, your work will contribute to services that help children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) thrive. You will be supported with training, development, and mentoring to grow your skills and confidence within the role.

We Are Looking For Candidates With

Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 37 hours full-time. You will be required to work from one of our office locations (Lewes IPS, Eastbourne TLC, Bexhill, Battle, Ringmer centres or one of the three hub buildings in Lewes, Eastbourne and Hastings) for a minimum of three days per week. This is a hybrid role.
