We have an immediate opportunity for a Senior IT Category Manager who specialises in IT Infrastructure - Cloud and On-Prem to join on a 6-month contract. This is an urgent role covering a critical gap in the team and is strictly for candidates who are available to start next week.

Please note: Only candidates with proven private sector experience in FMCG or other fast-paced commercial environments will be considered.

Role Overview

• Lead end-to-end IT procurement across complex infrastructure projects (both Cloud and On-Prem)
• Own the category strategy and drive commercial value across key IT suppliers
• Operate in a fast-paced, delivery-focused procurement function
• Engage stakeholders and influence across all levels of a commercial business

Requirements

• Immediately available - must be able to start within 5 working days
• Strong experience in private sector procurement - FMCG, retail, or other fast-paced tech industries
• Expertise in IT Infrastructure procurement - Cloud and On-Prem essential
• Skilled in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiations
• Excellent commercial acumen and stakeholder engagement

Working Model

• Based in London - 1-2 days per week on-site
• Fully remote considered only for candidates with exceptional experience
