The Opportunity

This role will be a key part of GPN UK’s leadership team. The person will engage closely with the Sales, Customer Operations, and Marketing teams. The aim is to drive revenue and develop strong brand awareness and successful marketing campaigns.
The role reports to the General Manager UK and manages a team of specialists in commercial planning, category, and shopper management. The position is based in London.
Category Strategy
- Own the short to long-term category growth strategy, identifying growth drivers and ensuring our brand and commercial teams are aligned to deliver this. Build a category story and collaborate with retailers for customization.
- Embed the category strategy at the core of GPN UK.
- Define and lead go-to-market strategies for brand plans, develop concepts for brands, identify gaps, and recommend developments to meet targets.
- Partner with the sales team to sell effectively to retailers.
- Lead 3-year strategic planning for total GPN.
- Own brand in-store development, creating innovative shopper activation to win at the point of purchase. Lead the team to ensure excellent execution on display and fixtures, securing wins against competitors.
Data & Insight
- Own all retailer data, EPOS, and insights. Also oversee the trade landscape, including consumer in-store behaviors.
- Provide expertise on market trends and data, offering proactive insights for the commercial and brand teams on future opportunities.
- Manage reporting and analytics to measure and track performance.
Share & Reapply
- Be the expert for GPN and share insights across markets.
- Serve as the go-to person for data and insight requests in the UK market.
Bespoke Projects
- Manage key strategic retail innovation projects and launches requiring cross-functional support.
