About the Role

As a Change & Release Manager, you'll be responsible for leading the governance and execution of technology changes and releases across our platforms. You’ll work closely with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to manage risk, reduce service disruption, and ensure all changes align with our wider transformation strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate change and release planning across Lifeways' technology platforms
  • Own and enhance the Change & Release Management process, ensuring best practice and compliance
  • Chair the weekly Change Advisory Board (CAB), reviewing and prioritising IT changes
  • Provide oversight and assurance across IT projects using our Delivery & Change Framework
  • Work as a subject matter expert on transformation projects, offering guidance and support
  • Liaise with business and technical teams to assess impact and ensure readiness
  • Identify and manage risks, ensuring changes are properly tested and validated before deployment
  • Lead release planning meetings, including go/no-go, pre- and post-implementation reviews
  • Create and deliver communication plans to support change initiatives
  • Continuously challenge existing processes to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Build and maintain effective, collaborative relationships with stakeholders at all levels

What You’ll Bring

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Change & Release Manager or Analyst in a dynamic IT environment
  • Strong knowledge of IT project management frameworks and release cycles
  • Certified in ITIL Service Management (Foundation) or equivalent
  • Experience embedding a culture of continuous improvement
  • Ability to manage complex change with a strong focus on risk and impact assessment
  • Skilled communicator — confident in leading meetings, creating reports, and presenting ideas clearly
  • Strong organisational and planning abilities, with a keen eye for detail
  • Comfortable working under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Experience coordinating change impact assessments and communication strategies
