Overview

At Bending Spoons, we’re striving to build one of the all-time great companies. A company that serves a huge number of customers, where team members grow to their full potential, and that functions at unparalleled levels of effectiveness and efficiency. Our approach combines an investor’s discipline with an operator’s hands-on execution by acquiring digital businesses with untapped potential and investing to make our platform stronger over time.

For a talented, driven, and collaborative individual, working at Bending Spoons is an opportunity to learn, make an impact, and progress your career at an exceptionally high rate. In this role, after an intensive 6- to 12-month training period as a product, growth, or hiring manager, you’ll directly support the CEO or another executive in decision-making. Your exact responsibilities will depend on the area you’re assigned to and may vary widely, but you will be deeply involved in day-to-day challenges that matter.

Recent graduates and early-career professionals with outstanding credentials are especially encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end execution of varying business projects, including leading due diligence and integration planning for acquisitions and coordinating with Legal, Finance, HR, and Product teams.
  • Support decision-making with prep materials and structured follow-ups; draft investor updates, coordinate metrics and team highlights, and manage Q&A responses.
  • Represent the CEO in meetings (e.g., attend weekly growth team meetings on behalf of the CEO; ask questions, summarize outcomes, and flag decisions).
  • Help teams focus on what matters by creating business reviews, coordinating inputs from all business units, and facilitating sessions that highlight performance and blockers.
  • Dive into tasks like financial planning, hiring strategy, or team operations, including identifying talent gaps and proposing solutions.
  • Help manage the executive’s calendar, travel, and communications, including creating focus blocks, declining unnecessary meetings, preparing briefing docs ahead of travel, and ghostwriting emails.

What we look for

  • Reasoning ability. Ability to solve complex problems from first principles, with attention to detail and awareness of biases.
  • Drive. High ambition, initiative, effort, tenacity, and accountability for work.
  • Team spirit. Willingness to support the best idea, reliability, honesty, and transparency.
  • Proficiency in English. Read, write, and speak proficient English.

What we offer

  • Incredibly talented, entrepreneurial teams. Small, autonomous teams working on meaningful problems.
  • An exceptional opportunity for growth. We hire individuals of outstanding potential and place them in roles to thrive; early-career Spooners can contribute to major projects.
  • All. These. Benefits. Flexible hours, remote work options, learning and training support, comprehensive health insurance, relocation assistance, parental support, and an annual retreat.
  • Competitive pay and equity. Salary ranges vary by location and experience, with potential equity and tax considerations; relocation benefits may apply.

Commitment & contract
