The Opportunity

Work exclusively with our client who is a high-growth, venture-backed scale-up that is reshaping the future of digital payments. With a bold vision and significant Series B backing, the company is solving real-time money movement challenges across international markets. They are now looking for a strategic Chief Product Officer to join the executive team and drive the next phase of product expansion and innovation.

This is a pivotal leadership role offering the chance to directly influence the roadmap of a disruptive player in the PayTech space.

The Role

As Chief Product Officer, you will be responsible for setting and executing the global product vision across all core markets. You will lead a cross-functional team spanning product, design, and research, driving the development of scalable B2B and B2B2C payments solutions for clients across the UK, Europe, North America, and emerging regions.

Day to day, you'll collaborate with senior leadership across technology, commercial, operations, and compliance to align product strategy with business objectives. You’ll oversee global product delivery, prioritise market needs, shape user experience across regions, and ensure the roadmap reflects regulatory, technological, and customer shifts in the payments landscape.

• Own the company’s end-to-end product vision, strategy, and delivery.
• Lead, inspire and scale a multi-disciplinary product organisation across product management, design, and research.
• Define and articulate a compelling product vision that aligns with customer needs and commercial objectives.
• Champion the voice of the customer internally while balancing commercial and technical considerations.
• Partner closely with engineering, operations, data, and commercial teams to drive a best-in-class product lifecycle.
• Define and track key success metrics to ensure outcomes-driven product execution.
• Represent product strategy at board level, aligning leadership and stakeholders across the business.
• Stay ahead of industry and regulatory trends to inform innovation across B2B and B2B2C payments.

Ideal Profile

• Proven experience as a CPO or senior product leader within a scale-up or high-growth PayTech / FinTech business.
• Extensive track record in B2B payments or transactional infrastructure products.
• Strong strategic thinker with a history of defining and delivering innovative product roadmaps.
• Data-led and customer-obsessed, with a commercial mindset and deep technical acumen.
• Experienced at leading high-performing product teams at scale.
• Background working in VC-backed environments, ideally from Series A to C and beyond.
• Deep familiarity with the regulatory and compliance landscape in payments.
